God the fucking ridiculous chain of command involved in padme's assassination is amazing. Palpatine tasks dooku to see it done, dooku hires a bounty hunter named Jango fett, who could very easily take her out himself, but hires another bounty hunter who is a shapeshifter and could also easily disguise herself as one of padme's guards or a jedi or whatever but she just deploys a Droid that presumably could just shoot padme to death but IT DEPLOYS SOME FUCKING CENTIPEDES TO KILL HER. Why don't the centipedes also just pull out guns that fire killer bees? Fuck it! And then anakin ends up killing her. Or possibly Palpatine. The guy that wanted her dead in the first place
